ABOUT

Natasha is a freelance content creator, graphic designer and photographer. Based in Singapore, she graduated with a Diploma in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2017. Currently a Media and Communications Undergraduate at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), she is an aspiring Journalism, Media and Communication professional.

Driven and passionate, storytelling remains the crux of her work. Being actively involved in the community back home, she spent the past seven years reading to children from underprivileged families in a student-run organization, Gift of Reading (GOR). Throughout her time, she organized volunteer camps, external trips to art museums, and was the organizer as well as director for GOR’s 10th Year Anniversary Play.

Adaptable and a risk taker, Natasha is always looking for new challenges and discoveries. She was awarded the Overseas Merit Fellowship, a prestigious flagship programme of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where she spent three weeks on a fully-funded trip to New Zealand. In partnership with the University of Auckland, she underwent an environmental studies programme on sustainability strategies. During her trip, she led the media team and took responsibility for designing collaterals prior to the trip, documenting and producing a final video, and also writing articles for the trip’s blog.

Natasha also spent another five weeks in China, partnering with Tianjin University of Technology, where she produced a food and travel magazine with her team for a school project. She took on the role of deputy editor and focused on writing human interest features, as well as editing her team’s articles. It is her interaction with people from all walks of life that shaped her worldview, inspiring her to connect her content to humans. People are her driving force to create content that inspires, and she found passion in telling their stories to others.

Natasha has a wealth of experience in event management and public speaking. As President of her school’s Ambassadorial body, she led a team of 150 Ambassadors and spearheaded outreach events such as the annual Open House, as well as student camps. One of her more recent projects would be hosting the 360-degree virtual reality school tour video for high school students.

Well versed in the digital world, she is fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud and enjoys putting her skills and passion to use in the industry. She spent six months interning at Singapore Airlines as a social media intern with the Marketing and Communications Development Department. One of her notable contributions would be helping to develop a social media engagement for the annual Formula 1 partnership by developing an Instagram quiz. This was a first and successful attempt for the team and was commended by her supervisors.

At the core of her work, Natasha values honesty and is a truth seeker. She believes in using the power of the digital age and the growing media industry to spread positive messages to consumers around her. As a content creator, she hopes that her work will connect individuals, from one human to another.

With her vibrant personality, she hopes to create fresh and polished content for brands. Combined with her limitless imagination, she can probably think of something cool for your brand too.
